Audiovisual integration projects in Colombia: challenge, solution and results
An AV system is not judged by its equipment list but by how it responds on the day there is a class, a board meeting or an emergency. Each story tells the challenge the client brought, what we designed and installed, and what changed afterwards.
Every project is published with its city, its year, the spaces we worked on and the brands we used. When the client authorises us to name them, we do; when they do not, we describe the project without identifying it.
Integración AV has designed, programmed and installed AV systems in Colombia since 2006. We work from Bogotá, with an office in Medellín, and the team holds AVIXA’s CTS certification, Crestron Master Gold and Crestron Service Provider.

A multi-space project with Crestron automation: auditoriums, medical simulation rooms, and outdoor displays integrated under a single control layer. Recognized as Education Project of the Year at the AV Awards Americas.
How we run a project
- Design and documentationWe gather the requirements of the space: size, number of seats, real use, acoustics, power and network infrastructure, and which existing equipment can be reused. We deliver drawings, single-line diagrams and schematics in industry notation.
- Programming built for the spaceOur engineers, certified as Crestron Service Providers, program the scenes and the coordination between projection, audio, cameras and video conferencing. Every button is agreed with the client before any code is written.
- Installation and site supervisionWe install and supervise the works alongside the construction or refurbishment team. We look after finishes, conduits and schedule, because in a working building the window for the job is usually narrow.
- Training and after-sales with an SLAWe hand over the space running and train both the people who use it and the facilities team. The system keeps after-sales support with response times agreed by contract.
