What it solves

What Preventive and Corrective AV Maintenance Solves

Most boardrooms and auditoriums only get attention once something has already broken: the projector won’t turn on mid-meeting, the microphone fails during the event, or the video call drops with the client on the line. Preventive maintenance cuts that risk before the failure happens: we periodically check the equipment, adjust what’s starting to degrade, and plan its useful life. When a failure happens anyway, corrective maintenance diagnoses the cause, repairs or fixes the component, and gets the system running again, with contractually agreed response times regardless of who did the original installation.
What it includes

What Preventive and Corrective AV Maintenance Includes

Scheduled preventive maintenance

A plan of periodic checks on your AV systems (boardrooms, auditoriums, classrooms, monitoring centers) to prevent failures before they happen.

Review and adjustment of existing equipment

A check of your projection, audio, control, and video conferencing systems, after an assessment even if another integrator installed them.

Firmware and software updates

As part of the preventive plan, when the manufacturer releases them and they apply to the installed equipment.

Technical diagnosis of the failure

We identify the real cause of the problem in the equipment, the programming, or the integration, not just the visible symptom.

Repair and correction

We repair or replace the affected component and fix the control system's programming when that's where the failure lies.

Reintegration and reporting

We verify the system is back to running as an integrated whole and deliver a report on the equipment's condition to help plan the investment.

Sustainable reuse assessment

A diagnosis of which equipment in good condition to keep, update, or integrate before proposing replacements, in line with the AVIXA Sustainability program.

Optional on-site support technicians

For critical operations (auditoriums, monitoring centers, campuses), dedicated technicians at the client's facilities as a complement to the maintenance plan.

How we work

How We Handle Maintenance on Your AV Equipment

Technician installing a projection unit on the ceiling from a ladder

Technical site visit and diagnosis

We assess the actual condition of the installed equipment and infrastructure, regardless of who did the original project, to set the maintenance starting point.

Defining the plan

We propose the frequency of preventive checks and the response times for failures based on how critical the operation is.

Running the preventive checks

We carry out the scheduled maintenance with certified staff, adjusting and extending equipment life and prioritizing sustainable reuse of what works.

Handling failures

When a failure is reported, we activate the response based on the contracted service level: we diagnose, repair or fix, and verify the system is running again.

Reporting and investment planning

We document the systems' condition after each visit and recommend what to keep, upgrade, or replace in stages.
Where it applies

What Solutions and Sectors This Maintenance Applies To

Meeting room with a wall display and a glass door

Boardrooms and meeting rooms

The most-used space, and the one most likely to fail at the worst moment: preventive maintenance so video conferencing, audio, and control respond every time.

Personal en cenro de monitoreo

Monitoring centers and crisis rooms

Operations that can't stop: preventive maintenance and failure response with contractually agreed times for systems that run continuously.

Meeting room with a U-shaped table and a screen at the front

Corporate sector

Maintenance plans for boardrooms, video conference rooms, and corporate auditoriums, with contracted after-sales support.

Teacher pointing at an interactive display in a classroom

Education sector

Maintenance for hybrid classrooms, university auditoriums, and simulation centers, where a failure interrupts a class or an event.

Government sector

Preventive and corrective maintenance for government agencies' monitoring centers and crisis rooms, where availability is critical.

After-Sales Support That Starts on Handover Day

Strong support before and after the sale is central to what we offer. Preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and optional dedicated on-site technicians address the sector's most common pain point: unreliable support after installation.

Sustainability and Extended Useful Life

The first question isn't what to buy, but what to keep. We extend the useful life of equipment in good condition and reuse what's viable before proposing replacements, aligned with the AVIXA Sustainability program. Maintaining well protects the client's budget and the environment.

Backed by a Verifiable Track Record

We've provided pre- and after-sales service to audiovisual spaces in Colombia since 2006, with AV industry awards (AV Awards Americas 2025 and CALA Awards 2024) that back the technical quality behind every visit.

Certified Technical Depth

Maintenance is carried out by a team that studies the scope of every technology. Crestron Master Gold status and AVIXA's CTS certification are the foundation of a service that knows what to check, what to adjust, and what to keep.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Preventive and Corrective Maintenance

If your question isn’t here, write to us: a specialist replies during office hours.

It includes scheduled periodic checks on your AV systems — projection, audio, control, and video conferencing — adjustments to what’s starting to degrade, advice on extending equipment life, and reports on each system’s actual condition. The goal is to prevent failures before they interrupt a meeting or event, and to plan the investment with data instead of urgency.
Preventive maintenance is scheduled: it checks and adjusts equipment periodically to keep it from failing. Corrective maintenance acts once a failure has already happened: it diagnoses the cause, repairs it, and gets the system running again. They’re complementary: a good preventive plan reduces how often things fail, and corrective maintenance responds when something breaks anyway.
Response time is agreed by contract based on how critical your operation is: a monitoring center or an auditorium in continuous use needs a different response than an occasionally used room. We define it when you contract the service, so you know the timeframe in advance. For operations that can’t stop, dedicated on-site technicians are available.
Yes. Before taking on a system installed by another integrator, we run a technical assessment to understand the equipment’s actual condition, and from there propose a preventive and corrective maintenance plan with contractually agreed response times. The original installation doesn’t have to be ours.
We first assess whether repair is viable. When the equipment is in good condition, we prioritize repairing and reintegrating it before proposing a replacement, because it lowers the cost for you and the amount of equipment that gets discarded.
Yes. We have our main office in Bogotá and an office in Medellín, and we provide maintenance in the rest of Colombia with our own technicians traveling from our offices or with technical partners in other cities. Coverage and timing are defined when we review your project.
Technical consultation

Request a Technical Site Visit for Your AV Equipment Maintenance

In the first conversation we learn what spaces and equipment you have, how you use them, and how critical your operation is. With a technical site visit we assess the actual condition of your systems and deliver a written proposal with the frequency of preventive checks, failure response times, and the service model.
