A well-designed sound system distributes audio evenly by zone, with ceiling and wall speakers sized for the area, professional microphones for voice, and paging logic that prioritizes announcements over background music. We design that system from the blueprint —with sound pressure level per zone and even coverage— for offices, shopping malls, clinics, and auditoriums, and we install and maintain it end to end.

Design and Documentation

We survey each zone: area, ceiling height, materials, background noise, and existing equipment that can be reused. We deliver floor plans, single-line diagrams, and schematics with speaker and microphone placement.

Audio Engineering and Configuration

We calculate coverage and configure the audio processor so music, voice, and paging coexist without overloading the system. Zones and priorities are agreed with the client before programming.

Installation and Site Supervision

We install speakers, microphones, amplification, and paging consoles in coordination with construction or renovation work. In operating spaces, the schedule adapts to the client's hours.

Training and After-Sales with an SLA

We hand over the system fully operational, train whoever uses it, and maintain it with agreed response times. Preventive maintenance is part of the service.

What is background music for businesses?

It’s an audio system distributed by zone that plays background music, announcements, and paging at the right level in every area of the space. It’s made up of ceiling or wall speakers, amplification, and an audio processor that gives voice priority over music. It’s designed from the floor plan so the sound stays even without overloading.

What does a background music and paging system include?

Speakers sized per zone, amplification, an audio processor (DSP), microphones for announcements or paging, and per-zone control. Depending on the space, we add paging consoles per office, microphones for meeting rooms, or line array for auditoriums. The final scope is defined during the technical assessment.

What's the difference between background music, general announcements, and a paging system?

Background music is the space’s ambient audio. General announcements carry building-wide or per-area messages, and a paging system calls a specific person from a service desk, such as a doctor’s office. They share speakers and a processor, which is why they’re designed together with a priority rule.

Which speakers do you use: ceiling, wall, or pendant?

It depends on the ceiling and the use. Drop ceilings use recessed speakers, which stay nearly invisible; high or open ceilings use wall or pendant speakers; and auditoriums use line array. The number and spacing of speakers are calculated per area to keep the level even.

Does it work for paging in clinics and waiting rooms?

Yes. We install consoles with a microphone at every office or service desk and speakers in the waiting room, with the page taking priority over the music. If two desks call at once, the system gives the line to the first one. The number of zones and offices is defined during the technical assessment.

Which audio and microphone brands do you use?

We work with Shure for microphones, Fohhn for line array and steered audio, Powersoft for amplification, Sonance for background audio built into the architecture, and Crestron for speakers and control, among other brands. The selection is made per project and on technical merit, based on what each space requires.

How much does it cost to install a background music system?

The cost depends on the area to cover, the number of zones, the number of speakers and microphones, the type of space, and the existing infrastructure. We don’t publish prices because every project is different. After the technical assessment, we deliver a detailed proposal with scope, timeline, and after-sales model.

Which cities do you design and install sound systems in?

Our main office is in Bogotá and we have an office in Medellín. In the rest of Colombia we work with technical partners under our supervision, and where none are available we send our own staff.
