AVIXA is the global technical association for the AV industry, and its notation is the standard used to document AV designs. It matters because a design in AVIXA notation — floor plans, single-line diagrams, and schematics — is legible and auditable by any outside consultant, not just whoever drew it. That brings transparency to the project and makes later installation, programming, and maintenance easier.
Yes, and it’s what we recommend. When we come in from the architectural planning stage, AV technology is accounted for in drawings, cabling, and budget from the start, not patched in at the end of construction. We coordinate the AV design with the architecture and, where applicable, with sustainability certification requirements such as LEED.
Design is the first capability in the cycle and can be contracted on its own or as part of a full project. The same team then covers Crestron and AMX programming, installation, and maintenance, so the design doesn’t stay on paper: it guides every phase that follows. You can contract only the design if you already have someone lined up to execute the build.
Yes. We have our main office in Bogotá and an office in Medellín, and we take on design projects in the rest of Colombia with our own technicians traveling from our offices or with technical partners in other cities. Coverage and timing are defined when we review your project.
We don’t publish prices because every design is quoted based on its actual scope: the size of the space, the complexity of the integration, and the level of documentation required determine the cost. After a technical site visit we deliver a detailed written quote, with the design scope, deliverables (drawings, diagrams, schematics), and timeline.
