Universidad Javeriana needed a medical simulation center where students could practice clinical procedures in a controlled environment, with audiovisual capture of every session for teaching debriefing. It is one of the most demanding educational spaces: it integrates video, audio, control, and recording in scenarios that replicate real hospital practice.
We designed and integrated the simulation center with AVIXA nomenclature —drawings, single-line diagrams, and schematics— and custom control programming, so that instructors and students operate the scenarios without friction and every session is documented for later analysis.
The project was recognized with the AV Awards Americas 2025 — Education Project of the Year and the CALA Awards 2024, international backing for the technical standard we apply to every education project.
